About the event
In our first season, the American String Quartet closed our year with the depth and artistry of an ensemble celebrating its 50th anniversary, performing alongside our Mystic Chamber Music Musicians - a milestone built through decades of shared sound. This season, we pass the stage to the next generation: the Terra String Quartet, just five years into their journey, bringing a fresh perspective and youthful precision to the rich traditions of chamber music. The evening concludes with Glazunov’s radiant Cello Quintet, as MCMS Artistic Director Tom joins Terra for a lush, five-part tapestry of sound. Hear how tradition continues, evolves, and sings anew.
